Eugene Christner

Eugene Joseph Christner, age 57, a longtime resident of Washington Twp., passed away August 2, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born June 26, 1968 in Mount Clemens, the son of Kenneth and Patricia (Daughtery) Christner. Eugene married his loving wife Kimberly Lynn in August 7, 2013. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying camping and fishing. He lived life to the fullest and was known for his sense of humor. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his beloved wife Kim, loving children Jim (Rena) Odell, Alyssa (David) Zimnickas of Rochester Hills, Larry (Rachel) Odell of Manton, Justin (Alysia Martinez) Christner of Romeo, and Amanda (Tyler) Eldridge of Greenville; beloved grandchildren Callie Odell, Alanna Odell, Addison Christner, Haylee Zimnickas, Brielle Christner, Grayson Eldridge, Zoe Christner, Larry Odell, Tori Christner, Maya Martinez, Peyton Martinez, Zermira Martinez. Also surviving his father Kenneth of Roscommon, siblings Jeff (Jill) Christner, Sherrie (Rick) Sharp, Anita (Scott) Wilson, Sandy (Stuart) Kennedy. He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia and siblings Christine, Craig, Dorothy and Tina.
