Escars Lee Thomas Richardson (aka: Escar Thomas) age 85 of Campbellton, FL passed away Wednesday March 12, 2025 at his residence surround by his loving family.

Esters Lee Thomas Richardson, (aka: Escar Thomas), was born on July 10th, 1939, to Annie Richardson Abrams and Esters Lee Thomas in Campbellton, FL. Escar, as he is known to most, passed away quietly in his home on March 12th at 1:46 A.M.

Escar was married to Carrie Etta Daniels of Campbellton, FL, and they had been married for 34 years, divorcing in 1996, with this union he was blessed with a daughter Starla Michele Batson and a stepson Stanley Cornelius Keys. Escar spent two years in the U.S. Army and most of his adult life in Cross City, FL, where he worked as a Foreman for the McRae Family. He loved baseball, church, and being a Pastor.

Escar is preceded in death by both of his parents, his ex-wife, two brothers and a sister, Willie (Bill) Rhynes, Daniel (Tad) Rhynes and Claudia Lewis; and a special friend: Ms. Rosa Lee Days; stepson: Vincent Days.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his daughter: Starla (Alsenior Jr.); brother: Pender (Sonnie) Rhynes (Gloria) of Las Vegas, Nevada; three step children: Gerald McDowell, Sr. (Deborah), Don Walker, and Pleshette Days; two grandchildren: Demetrius Allen Batson of Marianna, FL and Keegan Breanna Huff (Brandon) of Dothan, AL; three great grandchildren: Kennedi Chrisette Scott, Kassidi Beige Huff and Jethro Owen-Gray Huff of Dothan, AL, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

                                                                     Memorialization was by cremation.
