Estelle (Searage) Santamarina passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, at the age of 93. She was born on September 3, 1931, in Yonkers, N.Y. She is survived by her beloved family, daughter Debbie Bennett of West Nyack, NY, and son Jim (Sue) Santamarina of No. Myrtle Beach, SC, and her sister Arlene (Gery) Grabowski of Costa Rica.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Paul (Cristina) Remenar, Steven Remenar (Alyssa), Joe (Jennifer) Santamarina, James (Stacey) Santamarina and Christopher Marsh (Elizabeth). She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren Alexander, Paul, Ivana, Maya and Amelia. In addition, she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Estelle was predeceased by her beloved husband of over 65 years, Joseph James Santamarina, her son-in-law Larry Bennett, her parents Joseph and Estelle Searage and parents-in-law James and Catherine Santamarina.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt who took great pride in her family. She enjoyed weekends in Atlantic City, playing cards, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home, in West Nyack, N.Y., on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 3 pm – 6pm.
The funeral mass will be on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church in West Nyack, N.Y.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Yonkers, N.Y.
