Elizabeth Earhart

Loved by many, Elizabeth “Betty” Earhart, age 76, passed away at home and surrounded by family in Cumming, Georgia on December 25, 2014. Born December 8th, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio, Betty was a lover of animals, horses being her favorite. She lived on a farm in Hinckley, Ohio where she and her husband, Gerald, raised five children. She lived in California for ten years and spent the last 22 years in Georgia where she was the matriarch of the Earhart Bunch. One of her grandson’s summed it up best by saying, “She was the wisest person I knew when it came to understanding family and coping with life, she was clearly our GrandMaster.” Betty was preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Betty Marlitz, her brothers, Benjamin and Raymond, her husband Gerald, and her son Jerry. She is survived by her children David, Timothy, Michael, Sharon and Tricia, her grandchildren Lora, Jake, Colby, Tony, Kim, Angel, Sally, Amanda, Tiffany, Katie, Mikey, Justin, Danielle, Amber, and her great grandchildren Veronica, Bryce, Alissa, Natalie, Madeline, Lillian, Jordan and Katherine, all collectively and lovingly known as The Earhart Bunch!
