Eileen Nieves

Eileen Nieves passed away peacefully at the young age of 62 on January 27, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. 

She was born to Cruz and Martina Vazquez and the oldest of their four children. In 1983, she married her husband of 42 years, Juan Nieves. Eileen spent many years as a committed educator but beyond that she found her greatest pride and joy in her family and grandkids. Eileen nurtured her three beautiful children Johnny, David and Jeanette, instilling in them love and care. 

Eileen had a variety of passions, including cooking, baking, and home decor and spending time with her grandkids. Eileen was more than a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend; she was a true companion who stood by us through thick and thin. Her genuine care and concern for others were evident in every interaction and her ability to lift our spirits with her positivity and humor was unparalleled. Though Eileen has left us, her spirit lives on in the countless memories shared and the lessons she taught us about family, friendship, love, kindness, resilience and joy. 

Her legacy will continue to guide us. We will carry her memory in our hearts forever, grateful for the time we had with her and the profound impact she made on our lives Rest in peace Eileen. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
