Edward Helker

Edward “Ed” Ray Helker, 72, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, in Granbury. He was born August 14th, 1953, in Pampa, Texas to Clayburn Joe and Violet Louise Helker.

Ed loved and was loved dearly and respected by his family and friends. He enjoyed being a handyman, building things and capable of doing almost anything.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clayburn Joe Helker.

Ed is survived by his mother Violet Helker, brothers Rodger Helker and Daniel Helker, sister Joyce Shipman, numerous first and second cousins, extended family members and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm. Tuesday, October 28th, 2025, at the First Christian Church, 2109 W. U.S. Hwy. 377, Granbury, Texas 76048.
