Edward S. Frankevich, known affectionately as Ed to his friends and family, passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on October 10, 1969, in Somerville, NJ, he was a man whose warm smile and genial spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
A true New Jerseyan through and through, Ed found his calling early on. His career began at the iconic Borgata Casino in Atlantic City, where he was known as a masterful card dealer from the very opening of the illustrious establishment. Ed’s charismatic personality and skilled hands made him a favorite at the gaming tables. Ed loved his coworkers at the Borgata and made lasting friendships through out his employment.
Beyond his professional achievements, Ed harbored a passion for the horse races. Whether cheering from the stands with his mother, Irene, or analyzing the latest race statistics, he found joy and excitement in the sport of kings.
Ed also loved the tranquility and peace of the ocean and enjoyed living in Brigantine, NJ where he would frequently spend time relaxing at the beach.
Ed is survived by his loving mother, Irene Frankevich (neeKlimek); and his good friend, Bill.
Ed is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Stephen and Josephine Klimek.
We say farewell to Edward S. Frankevich, not with sorrow but with gratitude for the time shared and the gentle impact he had on this world. His story is one of a life well-lived, and a man well-loved. Ed’s memory will forever be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
