Edna Hutchinson

Mrs. Edna D. Hutchinson age 94 of Crestview, Florida passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side.  Mrs. Edna Hutchinson was born on January 26, 1931. She was born to the late Mr. Bob Clark and Mrs. Mary Magdalene Thomas Clark in Laurel Hill, Florida.

Edna Lois graduated high school in DeFuniak Springs, Florida and attended Florida A & M University. Edna Lois taught school in Campton, Florida and in Florala, Alabama.

Edna Lois Loved Jesus. She received Christ at Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Laurel Hill, Florida where her grandfather was the church founder and Pastor. Edna Lois shared the Gospel at various churches in the area when asked to do so and obtained a “Christians Ministers Degree” from the Layman’s School of the Bible in June of 2008. Edna Lois enjoyed cooking, reading, and talking about Christ. Edna Lois was a devoted mother and wife.

She was preceded in death by her parents: brothers: Mr. Melton Clark and Mr. Edward Clark; and sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Clark and Mrs. Jackie Clark-Matthews.

She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Mr. Willie C. Hutchinson; a devoted son, Mr. Derek Clark; grandsons, Cornelius Jenkins and Jameel Clark; granddaughter, DeShante Clark; three great-grandchildren, Tyrin Jenkins, Jaquez Steger, and Azaria Steger; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
