Edmond Ezra, 79, passed away on September 2, 2025, in Englewood, New Jersey. Born on January 13, 1946, in Jerusalem, Eddie lived a life marked by curiosity, generosity, and a deep appreciation for people and the world around him.
Eddie built a successful career in commercial real estate, where his keen insight and dedication earned him respect among colleagues and clients alike. His professional accomplishments were matched by his personal warmth—he was known for being loving, friendly, and endlessly curious. A lifelong learner, Eddie approached every conversation with genuine interest and an open heart.
Outside of work and family, Eddie found joy in travel and reading. He was an avid sports enthusiast with a particular passion for the New York Yankees, Giants, and Rangers as well as St. John’s Basketball, LSU Football and the US Soccer team. He especially loved supporting his children and grandchildren on the field, stage and court. Whether playing tennis or golf or enjoying a game of pickleball, he embraced activity with enthusiasm and camaraderie.
Eddie’s presence was truly one of a kind—his generosity touched everyone he met. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he enriched through kindness and connection.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Vicki, five children (Jeremy Ezra, Brian Ezra, Jessica Gilbert, Kara Donsky, and Dana Bocus) and ten grandchildren, all of whom he adored. Eddie’s devotion to his family was unwavering and formed the foundation of his life.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him. A Funeral Service will be held on September 8, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Robert Schoem Menorah Chapel, 150 Route 4, Paramus, New Jersey.
