Dwayne Martin Rowland passed away on November 1,2025 at Grady Memorial Hospital

after a courageous three-month battle with Cancer.Born on February 27,1964, to 

Patricia (Dolan) O’Dell and Ronald Lee Rowland, Dwayne was lovingly raised by

his stepfather, Ralph O’Dell who proceeded him in death.

A graduate of Rutherford B Hayes High school and the Delaware J.V.S Machine Trades

Program Class of 1982. Dwayne spent his life working hard and mastering many trades

he was truly a “jack of all trades” performing jobs such as Automobile and Forklift

mechanics, Bulldozer Operator, Railcar machine operator and construction.

Dwayne was a gentle loving man of few words, but with a big heart. He found joy In

simple things – gardening, watching NASCAR, cheering on his beloved Chicago Bears

and spending time with his partner in crime and loyal dog Franny “puppy”.

He is survived by Mother Patricia, Father Ronald, Daughter Amber (Jesse)Brady,

Brothers Ronald (Cheryl) Rowland, Scott Rowland. Sister Jennifer Stockdale, his main

caregiver and supporter and the one person he counted on and looked for each day.

Five Grandchildren Trinite, Erick, Lillie, Donnie, and Chloa along with several aunts, uncles,

 nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was Proceeded in death by Maternal Grandparents Sid and Frances (Culver) Dolan,

Paternal Grandparents Paul Rowland and Juanita (Rowland) Drone and one

Grandchild.

Dwayne will be remembered for his quiet strength, Kind spirit and unwavering love for

family and friends and faithful dog. His memory will live on in all who knew and loved

him.

A Memorial Service, honoring the life Dwayne will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025,

at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Delaware Chapel with Celebrant Ed Schlote officiating. Friends may visit

with the family on Saturday, at the funeral home, from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
