‘Downtown Throw Down’ Cornhole tourney happening Saturday in Carson City

Cornhole is hitting the streets of Downtown Carson City this Saturday, June 14. The Downtown Throw Down Cornhole Tournament will be held at Telegraph Square. All levels of players have a shot at big cash prizes.
Register now at the link here or the morning of the event. Check in starts at 9:30 a.m. in Telegraph Square, 108 Telegraph Street in downtown Carson City. The tournament is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or if play extends, 5 p.m. The event is organized and run by the Carson City Downtown Business Association and Silver State Cornhole.
There will be an Advanced Division for players with a PPR of 15.01+ with an $80 registration fee, a Competitive Division for players with a PPR of 11.5 to 15.00 with a $60 team registration fee and a Backyard Division for players with PPRs below 11.5 with a $40 registration fee. All divisions have cash prizes.
PRIZES:
Advanced Division – $600 1st place, $300 2nd place, $100 3rd place
Competitive Division – $500 1st place, $200 2nd place, $100 3rd place
Backyard Division – $120 1st place, $80 2nd place, $50 3rd place
Prize amounts are based on registrations of 12 teams per division. Prize amounts will be adjusted if less than 12 teams per division register for this tournament.
