Dorothy Hall

In loving memory of our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Dorothy Hall, who passed away on August 10th, 2025.

Dorothy was born on August 13th, 1940 in Bolton, Lancashire, England. She attended Holy Infants Catholic School. After completing school she entered the work force. Dorothy married Frederick Band on April 1st, 1961 and they raised 1 daughter together.

In 1976 they emigrated as a family to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and built a new life in Canada. Dorothy soon began a career in homecare in Saskatoon and continued in Thompson until she retired at the age of 71. This was a job she truly loved and was dedicated to. Dorothy looked at taking care of others as her lifes work.

Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her Daughter Christine Fritz (Colin), her Granddaughter Katie Fritz (Jeff) and her Great Grandchildren Mila and Jack Antila, her Brother James Hall (Irene), cousin Maureen and her Honorary Grandson Patrick Fritz (Chelsilee).

Dorothy was predeceased by her Parents James and Hilda Hall and her Grandson Simon.

Dorothy will always be remembered by all who loved her for her loving and fun nature.

Rest in peace Mum, we will never forget you.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life and Mass will be held at St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church in Thompson, Manitoba on Monday, August 25th at 1:00pm. Officiated by Father Joseph.
