Doris Greenfield Anderson

June 16, 2025 at the age of 97. Doris was born in Jamestown, NY and lived in Rochester, NY for her remaining years. She is predeceased by her husband Albert and daughter Sonja Farnsworth. She is survived by her son-in-law, Nelson Farnsworth and many close friends.

Doris had a career as a registered nurse and was proud to talk about her days working and learning at Bellevue Hospital in NYC and St. Mary’s in Rochester. Doris always had a smile on her face, even up until her last day. She had a strong faith in the Lord and made it clear that she was happy to be with her husband and daughter when it was her time.

She will be remembered for her positive personality, her bright light and her ability to make people feel special and good about themselves. She will be fondly remembered by many.

Doris will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery in Jamestown, NY on Friday, June 27th at 11:30 am.
