Donna Warnecke

Donna Warnecke, 80, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025 after bravely fighting health issues for several years. She was surrounded by family and friends.

She was one of seven children of John and Roxie Simons. Donna is survived by her husband Vernon, daughter Tonia, and brothers Neale Simons (Rosemary) and John Simons (Toni).

Donna was born in Ohio and moved at a young age to West Virginia. She was employed at various government agencies.

Donna enjoyed traveling with her family, visiting national parks and Europe. Her favorite viewpoints included mountains, rivers, and lakes. She also participated in activities such as making crafts and attending plays. She attended Weems Creek Church for 53 years, praising her Lord and Savior and attending Bible studies.
