It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald “Don” Kane on September 6, 2025, at the age of 79 years.

Don’s memory will be forever cherished by his beloved spouse of 49 years, Goldie (née Mason) Kane; his daughter, Kristine (Kane) Luft; her husband, Jarret Luft; and his treasured grandchildren, Emery and Mason Luft.

As per Don’s wishes, there will be no formal service. However, family and friends are warmly invited to an open house on Saturday, October 11, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 5611 – 174 Street NW, Edmonton, to share memories and pay their respects.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don’s memory to the SPCA or the Red Cross.
