Diana Ratliff

Diana Blaine Ratliff was born on Christmas Eve 1951 in Pikeville, KY and passed away at her home in Midway, KY on June 21, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father John M. Ratliff, her mother Ruby Stanley Ratliff and her brother John Keith Ratliff. She is survived by her sister, Jane Ratliff (Phillip)Branham and her niece Lauren Branham & a host of friends.

She graduated from Mullins High School in Pikeville and attended Eastern Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky.

Her career was largely spent working for non-profit organizations. From 1989 to 1999 she was Director of Development for the Kentucky Chapter of the Nature Conservancy. From 1999 to 2000 she was the marketing and PR Director of Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill. She was the President of Leadership Kentucky from 2006 until her retirement in 2014.

A memorial service will be held at the J.W. Call Funeral Home in Pikeville on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 2:00 pm followed by her burial at the Stanley Family Cemetery in Coal Run, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers, Diana preferred that a contribution be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
