Diana Dobson

Diana Lee Dobson, 76, of Clear Spring, MD, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD.

Born December 30, 1948, in Ranson, WV, she was the daughter of the late Warren Lee Lake and Betty Virginia (Carper) Lake.

Diana was preceded in death by her loving husband, Douglas E. Dobson, in 2003; and a grandson, Jason Line, in 2006.

She retired from GST Leather in Williamsport in 2004 and attended Mt. Calvary Church of God in Clear Spring.

Diana was a wonderful mother, grand mother, and great-grandmother.  She cherished her family and enjoyed spending time with each of them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Diana will be remembered for her great sense of humor and her enthusiasm for life, always up for an adventure and ready for anything.

She is survived by her children, Kelly Fulton and husband, George, Richard Dobson, Debra Line and late husband, Roger, and Krista Suder and late husband, Chris; her sister, Sandra Tarner; sister in law, Monica Thompson; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way; numerous close friends; and her canine sidekick, Dutch.

The family will receive friends at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring, MD on Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 12 to 2 pm.  

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Diana’s honor to the Clear Spring Food Bank, P.O. Box 503, Clear Spring, MD 21722.
