DELFIM HEUSLER

DELFIM A. HEUSLER, a lifelong resident of Yonkers NY, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at age 53.

Delfim was founder and publisher of Yonkers Insider Online Newspaper for over twenty years, in which he reported local Yonkers/Westchester politics, community events and issues. 

“He was a gentle soul, polite and caring, a genuine gentleman.”

He was son of the late Paul A. and Constance (Joao) Heusler.

Delfim is survived by his aunts, Magdalen “Maggie” Smith of GA and Dolores Joao, a cousin, Raymond Joao and his “Yonkers family”, Geraldine “Geri” Lamberto, Cynthia “Cindy” Froner, Tom and Carol Daly, and countless friends he made during his lifetime.

Memorial Visitation will be held in DUCHYNSKI-CHERKO Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 4PM to 8PM.

Interment is PRIVATE.
