Debra met Steve Landmark and the two united in marriage on September 17, 1983, at First Lutheran Church in International Falls. Debra spent her life serving others and placing their needs before hers, right up to the end. She spent most of her career working for Koochiching County Public Health where she served as a hospice and public health nurse. She made long lasting friendships with her co-workers that carried over into retirement.

Debra enjoyed quilting, reading, tending to her flowers, and spending time with her children and grandchildren, who were recipients of many beautiful quilts and blankets that were made with love. She enjoyed spending time outside walking, camping, and spoiling her children’s dogs with walks and treats whenever they gave her the puppy dog eyes. Throughout her life, whenever there was a sporting event, school event, or other activity she was always there supporting her family.
