Dawn JoAnn Dressler, age 53, of Alexandria, KY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, surrounded by love and memories.
Born on May 27, 1972, in DuBois, PA. She was the cherished daughter of Linda Deitch and the late David Dressler.
Dawn was a woman of warmth, compassion and quiet strength. She took immense pride in her home and found joy in life’s simple pleasures – especially in the love of her grandchildren, Mason and Bentley.
She had a deep affection for nature, often tending to her plants with care and creativity. A lover of crafts and bingo, Dawn found happiness in both the small details of life and the laughter of good company. Her heart extended beyond her home. Dawn was a dedicated foster with Frankie’s Furry Rescue, selflessly opening her heart and home to animals in need. She especially cherished the companionship of her beloved cat, Baby Bird who recently passed. She often spoke of her dogs Tabby and Mia who passed several years ago – but never forgotten. Dawn will be remembered for her giving spirit and genuine kindness. She was a loyal friend, sister and daughter, always ready to lend a hand or share a smile. Her presence brought comfort, and her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled.
In addition to her mother, Linda, Dawn is survived by her partner, Stephen “Pup” Hurrelbrink; her treasured grandchildren, Mason and Bentley; and her beloved sisters, Stacy (Jeff) Felix, Kari (Ed) Fox and Edie (Jay) Caltagarone, four nieces Miley, Kolbi, Katelyn, Paisley and a nephew Joey.
Dawn led her life on her own terms. Her life was a blessing to all who knew her, and her memory will be forever cherished.
A time of gathering will take place on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
