A proud and skilled journeyman with Local 675, David found purpose and pride in his work in construction. Outside of his profession, he embraced the outdoors. Camping under the stars, tending to his garden, or firing up the barbecue to prepare a meal for the people he loved most. His hands built not only homes and gardens, but also a lifetime of memories for his family and friends.

A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception to share stories, memories, and comfort.

If you wish to honour David’s memory, the family kindly suggests donations be made to Lisaard & Innisfree Hospice, which provided exceptional care and comfort to David in his final weeks of life. The hospice is funded largely through community donations, and contributions made in David’s honour will help them continue their compassionate work.
“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
– Matthew 11:28
Forever in Our Hearts
God saw you getting tired,
and a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around you
and whispered, “Come to Me.”
With tearful eyes we watched you,
and saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard-working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
