Daryl Morris

A graveside service for Daryl L. Morris, 72, of Ceylon, MN, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Lake Belt Cemetery in Lake Belt Township, rural Ceylon, MN. A time of sharing memories and celebrating Daryl’s life will be held following the service at the home of Ronald and Jean Morris with refreshments served. Daryl passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont, MN. The Kramer Family Funeral Home of Welcome, Sherburn, and Trimont, MN, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Daryl Lee Morris was born on February 27, 1953 to James and Arloine (Plath) Morris in Fairmont, Minnesota. He received his education in Ceylon Schools later graduating with the class of 1972. Daryl then attended Pipestone Vocational School for meat cutting. Daryl owned and operated the Corner Store in Ceylon for several years.

He is survived by his brother, Ron (Jean) Morris of Ceylon; sister, Jody Scott of Ceylon; sister-in-law, Karen Morris of rural Trimont, Minnesota; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Daryl was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents, James and Arloine “Toots” Morris; brothers, Roger and Jerry Morris; great nephew, Wesley J. Scott and other relatives.
