Brooklyn, CT – Daron Andrew Bachand, 39, of Brooklyn, CT passed away peacefully at home on April 14, 2025. He was the loving husband of Jerrilynn (Daigle) Bachand. Born in Southbridge, MA, he was the beloved son of Barbara (Newton) Nieroda and her husband Vin of Florida and the late Henry G. Bachand.

Daron was a vibrant and creative family man- drawn to the outdoors, whether he was camping, hiking or skateboarding; as long as his family was by his side, he was content. He even proposed to the love of his life while hiking and passed down his love for the woods to his three amazing children. His kindness was limitless, never able to say no to a friend in need or to adding another pet to the Bachand brood. He animated each conversation with his mischievous dry sense of humor and his encyclopedic knowledge of movie quotes, and he was quick to spice up any recipe with his secret ingredients.

Daron leaves behind many people who will forever mourn the loss, his loving and attentive wife Jerrilynn (Daigle) Bachand; their three adoring children, Sylas age 13, Addison age 8, and Raya age 4; his brother, Matthew Bachand of Southbridge, MA; his sister Jenny Bachand of Vernon; his nephews ,Nolan Bachand and Braydon Dawson; his nieces Kylie and Brooklyn Bachand, Ila DiGeronimo and Emelia Dawson; his mother-in-law Vikkii Labonte and her husband Rick; his father-in-law Gerald Daigle and his wife Ginny; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial for Daron on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence St., Putnam, CT. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
