Darlene Toy

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darlene Rose Toy, who departed this life on July 10, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on March 7, 1957, in Canton, Ohio, Darlene touched the lives of many with her kind spirit and vibrant personality. She spent her career as a dedicated cashier at Walmart, where her friendly smile and cheerful demeanor brought joy to both customers and coworkers alike.

Darlene is preceded in death by her father William N. Toy.

Left to cherish Darlene’s memory is her beloved mother, Ruth L. Toy; siblings, Suzanne L. Toy – Mast (Timothy Mast) and Wayne N. Toy (Delorna D Toy); nephews, Steven R. Toy (Heather), Timothy N. Toy (Ivonne Toy), and Devon T. Toy; niece, Sarah J. Toy (George Janosik) and a large and loving extended family.

Darlene held a variety of passions that defined her, from her enthusiastic collection of elephants to her love for NASCAR races. She also had a creative side, enjoying arts and crafts and showcasing her talent as a cartoon artist. Her artistic abilities brought laughter and warmth to those around her, leaving a lasting impression on friends and family.
