Daniel Clifton Marsh passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on June 11, 1957, in Columbia, Missouri, he was the son of the late Montana and Frances Marsh.
Daniel was a man of diverse interests and passions. He was dedicated to his work in flooring and painting, found solace in the quiet moments spent fishing, and his love for music could turn any gathering into an impromptu concert. An avid sports fan, Daniel’s enthusiasm for football and baseball was contagious, and he enjoyed nothing more than cheering on his favorite teams with friends and family. His adventurous spirit was evident in his love for riding motorcycles and his passion for racing.
Daniel’s zest for life extended to his culinary adventures, albeit with a humorous twist. He was known to claim that he loved food, but his culinary talents were best showcased through the art of microwave cooking. This light-hearted self-awareness was one of the many facets of his endearing personality.
Above all, Daniel’s greatest pride and joy was his daughter, Amber Dawn. He often said that the best thing he ever did was being her father, and their bond was a testament to his deep capacity for love and devotion.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, his grandma Daley, and his siblings Sherry, Larry, Phil, and Dickie.
He leaves behind a legacy of laughter and love, carried on by his loving girlfriend, Linda Goff; his daughter, Amber Marsh; his brother, Michael Marsh; brother-in-law Robert Bradley; and his nephews, Brian (Diana) Bradley and Daryl (Lesa) Bradley. Daniel’s memory will also be cherished by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and the countless friends who were drawn to his funny, loving, and handy nature.
Daniel Clifton Marsh lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a touch of mischief. His stories will be told, his jokes will be repeated, and his presence will forever be felt in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, we celebrate a life well-lived and a spirit that will never be forgotten.
Memorials are suggested to his daughter Amber Marsh.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker-Millard Funeral Service & Crematory, 12 East Ash Street, Columbia, MO 65203 (573) 449-4153. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.millardfamilychapels.com
