Dana VanMeter

Dana H. VanMeter, 90 of Parkersburg, WV (formerly of Belpre, Ohio) went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on 10/21/2025. He was the son of Chester and Gladys VanMeter formerly of Racine, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his wife Annabel, his parents, his sister, Phyllis Gilmor and his brother Roy VanMeter.

He is survived by his son David (Janet) VanMeter of Hilliard, Ohio and daughter Lori (Jonathan) Woodard of Pace, FL, two grandsons Lewis Lowers III of Columbus, Ohio and Zachary (Haily) Kress of Springfield, his great-granddaughter Emery Kress, and many good friends and neighbors.

There will be no traditional viewing or funeral service. His body will be cremated and his remains returned to the earth at a later date.
