Constance Testerman
Constance “Connie” Leanna Testerman, age 83, of Glade Spring, VA, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025. She was born on September 23, 1941, in Lancaster County, PA, to the late John Arthur Eisenhauer and Martha Derr Eisenhauer. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Atwood Testerman, Sr.; and brothers, Arthur Eisenhauer, Jr., Sam Eisenhauer, Bill Eisenhauer and Dale Eisenhauer. Connie was a homemaker for her family. She enjoyed cooking delicious meals and in her spare time, she liked to play bingo. She also loved watching Little House on The Prairie. Most of all, Connie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her son, John Testerman (Joyce); daughters, Brenda Testerman Trent and Janet Testerman Blevins; grandchildren, Lou Testerman (Jessica), Billy Trent (Beth), Michael Trent (Ellen), Seth Testerman, Danny Trent, Jerry Blevins, Katisha Blevins, Josh Blevins and Robert Blevins; great grandchildren, Remi Testerman, Teddi Testerman, Kimmy Trent, Joy Kestner (Zac), Nathaniel Dishner, Monica Trent, Alex Trent, Nevaeh Trent, Huxley Kell, Lily Trent, and Noah Trent; sister, Carolyn Smith (Danny); several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. A gathering for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Garrett Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at New Lutheran Cemetery, in Meadowview, VA, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Gordon Taylor officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be, Billy Trent , Michael Trent, Danny Trent , Lou Testerman, Seth Testerman, Jerry Blevins, Joshua Blevins and Robert Blevins. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Alex Trent and Noah Trent. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Connie. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Caris Hospice and Valley Health Care Center for all the kind and compassionate care shown to Connie during her time of need.
