Constance McCarthy

Connie FitzGerald McCarthy, 87 slipped quietly away on August 14, 2025, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Matthew Anthony McCarthy. Loving Mother of Maria, Joan (Greg), Jim (Nanette) and John (Lee). Connie’s dearest companions were Emily, Katherine, Aidan, Margaret, and Kale. Her beautiful, captivating grandchildren filled her heart with joy. We will cherish her memory always.

Visitation to be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 9:30-10:00 a.m., Queen of All Saints Basilica, 6280 N. Sauganash Ave., Chicago; followed by Celebration Mass at 10:00 a.m., Queen of All Saints Basilica; followed by graveside burial at Calvary Cemetery, 301 Chicago Ave., Evanston. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, please take a child to the zoo.
