Demetrice Darnell Beverly was born on September 29, 1985, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Antonio D. Cook and Eartha Jean

Beverly.

At the young age of four, he gave his life to Christ and was baptized, beginning a lifelong journey of faith that guided him throughout his life.

Demetrice was educated in Birmingham City Schools, attending Hill Elementary and A.H. Parker High School, where he excelled both academically and athletically. A proud member of the baseball and football teams, his athletic talent earned him the opportunity to attend the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, where he continued to pursue his passion for football as a wide receiver.

Professionally, Demetrice dedicated his career to improving the well-being of others, working tirelessly to make a difference in the lives he touched. Beyond his career, his heart was rooted in service to his community. As a mentor and coach for both football and baseball, Demetrice touched countless lives – encouraging, inspiring, and guiding young people with his wisdom, patience, and unwavering support.

Demetrice will forever be remembered for his strong faith, generous spirit, and the deep love he poured into his family, friends, and community.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Eartha Jean Beverly, and his grandmother, Carol Ann Cook. Demetrice leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Tara Hall-Beverly; his three beloved daughters, Amandah, Andriyah, and Olivia; his father, Antonio Cook; stepmother, Paulette Curry; sisters, Lakendra Shade Cook, Delisa (Fredrick) Edwards, Deidra Curry, and Delia Curry; grandmother, Girtha Beverly and a host of loving nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
