Clarice “Jeep” Naugle, 93, of Sterling, Colorado passed away on August 12, 2025 in Sterling. Per her request no viewing or services will be held. Clarice was born June 13, 1932 in Sterling to Vern & Edna (Martin) Register. She graduated from Sterling High School in 1950. Clarice married Richard Naugle in 1951 and later divorced after 29 years of marriage.
“Jeep” worked for 30 years at the Logan County Hospital and worked part-time at the Rose Arbor & Sterling Heights nursing homes in Sterling. She was a talented seamstress & a gifted quilt maker. She also loved to read, go camping and fishing, and doing different arts and crafts.
“Jeep” is survived by daughter Kathy Fox of Sterling, son Jim (Nita) Naugle of Yampa, CO, son Dennis Naugle of Greeley, CO, son Gordon Naugle of Sterling, son John (JoAnn) Naugle of Lake Havasu, AZ, daughter Donna (Dave) Winters of Sterling, son Don (Janet) Naugle of Tualatin, OR, son Rich (Cathey) Naugle of Sterling, son Bill Naugle of Greeley, 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Vern & Edna, 2 sisters, son Jeffry, grandson Marc Schmitz, 5 daughter-in-laws, and her ex-husband Dick Naugle.
