Christopher Smith

Christopher Scott Smith, 51 of Wayne, WV, died Monday, June 9, 2025 at his residence. He was born September 26, 1973 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Donald Lee Smith and Virginia Stapleton Smith. Scott was a flooring installer for Grandview Outlets. His nephew, Holdin Kane also preceded him in death. Survivors include his daughter, Samantha Smith of Wayne, WV; two sons, Charles Smith (Kayla) of Wayne, WV and Richard Smith (Haley) of East Lynn, WV; three sisters, Linda Leffingwell (Darrell) of Huntington, WV, Kimberly Smith of Wayne, WV, Sandra Smith (Timmy) of Ona, WV; two brothers, Roger Smith (Judy) of Illinois, Jamie Smith (Shawnda) of East Lynn, WV; ten grandchildren, Payton and Mason Stapleton, Bailey Smith, June Stapleton, Raegan, Liam, Riley, Virginia, Charlie and Remington Smith. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, June 16, 2025 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Danny Stapleton. Burial will follow at Asbury Cemetery, East Lynn, WV. Visitation will be from noon until service time at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, WV.
