Christopher Hare

Christopher E. Hare Tucker, son of Charles E. Tucker and Cherrie L. Hare was born on January 9, 1961 in Calhoun, Alabama. He departed this life on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at the Silvercrest Health and Rehabilitation Center, Crestview, FL.

Chris grew up in Alabama, New Jersey, and Florida. He spent his early years of elementary school in New Jersey. After moving to Crestview, Florida he attended Bob Sikes Elementary, Richbourg Jr. High School and graduated from Crestview Sr. High School in 1979. He joined the United States Army after graduation and served for six years (1979-1985) and trained as a professional cook. After he completed his military obligations, he moved to California and lived there for many years. Chris came home to attend his grandfather’s funeral and decided it was time to stay. Chris worked in the community and enjoyed helping in anyway he could. He was very generous with his time and talents. He loved to spending time with his special friends and visiting with his family in Alabama. Chris was a diehard University of Florida sports fan “Go Gators”.

He was preceded in death by his Father: Charles E. Tucker; Step-father: James David “Bud” Parker; Grandparents and other relatives.

Chris leaves to cherish is memories: Daughter: Alexis Hare; three Grandsons, all of California; Mother: Cherrie L. Hare Parker, Crestview, FL; Brothers: Malcolm (Linda) Parker, Crestview, FL; Eric (Aurora) Parker, Niceville, FL; Stanley Parker, Crestview, FL; and Brian Parker, Hudson, FL; Sister: Shirley (Joe) Roberts; Aunts: Pearline (Jimmy) Oliver & Virginia Owens; a host of nieces, nephews, other beloved relatives, and friends.
