Christina Montoya

Christina Michelle Montoya, 50, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Christina was born on August 9, 1974, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, to Arturo Montoya and Trinidad Forni. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose kindness, and caring nature touched everyone she met.

Christina is preceded in death by her beloved son, Joshua Dimas; her brother, Adrian Montoya; her father, Art Montoya; her grandparents, Tommie Montoya and Luisa Garcia; and her cousin, Bridgette Lopez.

Christina is survived by her children Shanice Melendez, Angel Sandoval, and Kimberly Sandoval; her brother Gabriel Montoya; her sister, April Munoz; her mother, Trinidad Forni; her stepfather, Mark Forni; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and extended family members.

Services will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at La Paz-Graham’s Funeral Home in Las Cruces. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by funeral services from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Christina will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her strength through life’s challenges, and the joy she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
