Charles McCamant

Charles McCamant, 74, of Granbury, Texas, passed away at home, on September 2, 2025. He was born on January 11, 1951, and lived a full life devoted to his family, his work, and his passions.

Charles spent his career as a licensed HVAC technician, first working in the family business before later owning and operating his own company for many years. His strong work ethic, expertise, and dedication earned him the respect of both his customers and peers in the community.

Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Coby McCamant of Granbury, Texas; his children Matt & Shaun McCamant of Cedar Hill, Tennessee; Paul & Macara Trusty of Aledo, Texas; Craig & Marcey Morvant of South Carolina; and Chase McCamant of Glen Rose, Texas.  He was also a proud grandfather to several grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy.

Beyond his professional life, Charles had a lifelong love for auto racing and fast cars—a passion that nearly matched his devotion to his family. Whether in the garage, at the racetrack, or simply sharing stories with loved ones, his enthusiasm was contagious.

Charles will be remembered for his loyalty, his love of family, his spirited personality, and the joy he found in the simple pleasures of life. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on through those who loved him most.
