Charles Kiker, Jr.
Mr. Charles H. Kiker, Jr. age 83 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Tuesday July 29th, 2025 at his residence.
Mr. Kiker was born on September 2nd, 1941 in Ellijay, GA to the late Dessie (Kell) and Charles H. Kiker, Sr. He was a graduate of Gilmer High School, class of 1959 and was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Ellijay. Charles owned and operated Kiker Building Supply Company and served as a board member of Bank of Ellijay, Century South Bank, and BB&T for many years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Connie Kiker.
Survivors include his son, Jeff Kiker of Ellijay, GA; grandchildren, Maci Kiker and Leah Kiker; brothers, Paul Kiker, Sr. (Kathy), Ben L. Kiker (Vicki) all of Ellijay, GA; sisters in law and brother in law, Kay Evans (Jerry) of Helen, GA, Sheryl Jackson of Ellijay, GA; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday August 1st, 2025, from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Holt and Dr. David Drake officiating. Special music will be by Lowell Davis. Interment will follow in the Ellijay City Cemetery with Paul Kiker, Jr, Paul Kell Kiker, III, Will Kiker, Bo Dorsey, John Dorsey, Tony Norman, Zack Norman, Blakely Lowery, and Kevin Kell all serving as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Evans, Steve Evans, George Winn, Paul Nealey, Danny Crook, Mack Logan, Randall Thurman, Carl Hill, Jeff Farist, the Employees of 515 Lumber and Millwork, and the staff of Logan Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday July 31st at the Logan Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation in memory of Mr. Kiker.
