Catherine Curlee-Bickett

Catherine “Kathy” Ann Curlee Bickett, born January 23,1943, in Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on November 16, 2025, in Weatherford, Texas.

Catherine was the daughter of Jack Persian Hall and Clara Gertrude Hall and grew up in Fort Worth where she graduated from Brewer High School. She shared her childhood with her brother, Jack “Butch” Hall.

Family was the center of Kathy’s world. Nothing made her happier than being surrounded by the people she loved. If there was music playing, she was ready to dance. It was one of her favorite joys in life and something that family and friends will never forget.

Her three children, survive Kathy, Sharon Turnbow of Weatherford, Texas, Ricky Curlee of Acton, Texas, and Blinda Smith of Weatherford, Texas. She leaves behind eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, with another on the way; and, by 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Kathy is preceded in death by her father, Jack Hall; her mother, Clara Thompson; her brother, Jack Hall; her husbands, Roy Curlee and Bob Bickett; and by her granddaughter, Brandie Cress.

A graveside service will follow on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 2 P.M., at the Rio Vista Cemetery, FM 916, Rio Vista, Texas, 76093.

Kathy’s love, warmth, and steady presence shaped generations. Her family will carry her memory forward with gratitude and affection. May her legacy continue in every story shared, every laugh remembered, every amazing meal made, and every moment of joy she shared.
