Carson City’s 775 Off-Road & Recovery joins search for hiker missing for several weeks; asks for drones, volunteers

775 Off-Road & Recovery will be assisting in the search for Ryan Jeremy Carter Laxague, who went missing in the Jumbo Grade hills on September 2nd.

His wallet, keys, and phone were found near his truck in the area, and it is believed he may be injured.

Search Meeting Point: Jumbo Grade Trailhead
Time: 9:30AM Friday, September 26

We welcome anyone from the community who would like to join us in the search. Please come prepared for rugged terrain and outdoor conditions (sturdy shoes, water, protective gear).

We are especially asking for anyone with drones to assist in the search. Aerial support could greatly expand the reach and effectiveness of our efforts.

To support volunteers, 775 will provide Gatorade, water, and a small BBQ after the search efforts.

If you have any information on Ryan’s whereabouts, please call law enforcement immediately or contact the family at the numbers listed on the flyer.

Please check back for updates on additional search dates as they may be announced. Let’s come together as a community to help bring Ryan home.
