Carson City Grocery Outlet’s Independence from Hunger food drive is back through July

This July, Carson City Grocery Outlet invites the entire community to rally around a powerful mission: ending hunger where we live. As part of the national Independence from Hunger campaign, the store is collecting food and monetary donations throughout the month to support local families in need and they’re making it fun, impactful, and easy for everyone to get involved.

Teaming Up with the Northern Nevada Dream Center

This year, we’re proud to once again partner with the Northern Nevada Dream Center, an organization dedicated to restoring hope and meeting the practical needs of individuals and families across our region. Through this powerful collaboration, every donation made at our store goes directly toward feeding local residents who are facing food insecurity right here in Carson City.

Ways to Give

Getting involved is simple and rewarding:

  • Donate a $5 pre-packed bag of groceries at the register, each filled with essential food items for local families in need.
  • Give a $5 donation at checkout and receive a $5 OFF coupon for a future purchase as a thank you for your support!
  • Donate any amount every dollar counts and stays right here in our local community.
  • Spread the word! Share our mission with your friends, family, and coworkers to multiply our impact.

Let Freedom Ring with Full Plates

This July, as we celebrate freedom and independence, let’s also stand together to ensure no one in our community goes hungry. Join Carson City Grocery Outlet and the Northern Nevada Dream Center in making a local impact that lasts.

Visit us at 2100 East William Street and be part of something meaningful, because when a community comes together, everyone wins.

We thank you for your generosity!

Mike, Bobbie, and Grocery Outlet team!
