UPDATE 6:35PM: Firefighters knocked down a small fire Sunday evening, estimated to be around a tenth of an acre, located on Oneida Street in the Carson Colony. There was no damage to structures and the cause is undetermined at this time, according to Carson City Fire Department Battalion Chief Micah Horton.

Carson City Fire Department responded Sunday evening to a brush fire in the 600 block of Oneida Street in the Carson Colony area.

At 5:56 p.m. Carson City Dispatch reported a brush fire in the area. The size of the fire is reportedly a quarter-acre and is burning in sage brush. It is unknown if structures are threatened. There have been lightning strikes in the area.

Multiple fire and brush units were called to the scene.
