Carson City Fire Department called overnight to small fire inside commercial building

Carson City Fire Department responded early Monday morning to a small fire inside a commercial building in the 3000 block of Conestoga Drive.

The fire, reported at 3:57 a.m., was caused by a piece of manufacturing equipment inside the commercial building that caught on fire, said CCFD Battalion Chief Brad Mihelic.

The fire was quickly extinguished. There was no damage to the structure and there were no injuries, said Mihelic.
