Carson City emergency crews called to vehicle incident with injury

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were called Monday morning to an accident reportedly involving a driver who got out of a running vehicle, which then hit her.

The woman sustained a laceration to her neck area, according to first responders on scene.

The incident happened in the area of Flintwood Drive and Taylor Way just after 11 a.m. The extent of injuries are unknown at this time, however the driver was conscious, alert and was being evaluated by CCFD personnel.
