Carson City Elks Lodge dinner raises $2,700 for Spirit of Hope
In May of this year Carson City Elks sponsored a special Friday Night Dinner to help support Spirit of Hope, the 501(c)3 that provides housing and case management support to those in Carson City who are low income. SOH rents 15 houses and pays all utilities and insurance.
With the rise of all these costs, financial support is needed. The Carson City Elks were able to donate the proceeds of their dinner of $2,700 to SOH. The publicity surrounding the dinner brought in another $2,000 in donations to the non-profit.
