Carson City area gaming revenue climbs 7.39 percent in January

Gaming generated revenue at Carson City and Carson Valley casinos grew by 7.39 percent in January, according to the latest figures from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Casinos in Carson City, Minden, Gardnerville and all other areas of Douglas County except for South Shore Lake Tahoe saw its gaming revenue, also called “gaming win” amount to $11,158,957, up from 7.39 percent from January 2024 figures.

Meanwhile, South Shore Lake Tahoe casinos saw gaming generated revenue climb 22.37 percent for the month, taking in $22,280,750 in January while North Lake Tahoe gaming revenue was down 11.18 percent for the month.

Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,439,329,029 for the month of January 2025, a 12.54 percent increase compared to January 2024 when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,278,919,728.

For the fiscal year (July 1, 2024 through January 31, 2025), gaming win has increased 0.03 percent. Win totals reflect the most recent data available and are subject to revision.
