Carlotta Mayfield

Carlotta Ann Mayfield, age 80, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at her residence. She was born August 31, 1945 in Nashville, Arkansas to Carloton and Agnes Alford. “Mommalotta,” as she was affectionately known, was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church and retired with 30 years of service from Morton Thiokol. She enjoyed Hallmark movies, was an avid football fan and was a very generous and giving person. Her family brought her the greatest joy and they will miss her terribly.

Carlotta is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mayfield; and her parents.

She is survived by two sons, Dean Mayfield and wife Leslee, Marc Mayfield; brother, Wayne Alford and wife Darlene; sister, Addie Surginer; grandchildren, Haileigh Mayfield, Madeline Lanphier, Journey Grace Mayfield; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 20, 2025 in the Hanner Funeral Service Chapel, with Bro. Gene Parker officiating.

Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, September 19, 2025 at Hanner Funeral Service.

Interment will be in Smyrna Cemetery.
