Brayden Becker

Brayden Dee Becker, aged 23, passed away on July 16, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas. Born on June 28, 2002, in Scott City, Kansas; the son of Casey Dee Becker and Amanda (Schroeder) Nolde.

Brayden’s early years were spent in Kansas filled with the joys of childhood and the love of his family. At the age of 11, his family relocated to Nebraska, where he embraced new adventures. Brayden returned to Garden City in November 2023.

Brayden’s professional journey was diverse as he worked in several places, with his most recent positions being in the service industry at McDonald’s and Applebee’s. However, it was the time he spent as a tree trimmer that he enjoyed the most. Brayden’s passion for the outdoors and the natural world led him to pursue becoming an arborist. He always dreamed of having his own business, maybe in landscaping or tree trimming.

His interests were as varied as they were intense. In his younger years, Brayden played football and wrestled, showing the same dedication and team spirit that he would carry into all aspects of his life. Animals held a special place in Brayden’s life. His fondness for horses, dogs, cats, and all creatures great and small was a testament to his gentle spirit.

Brayden was known for being ornery and tender-hearted, a combination that endeared him to those around him. He loved his people BIG, and he was always sure to tell them. The words “I Love You” were never far from Brayden’s lips, and those who received his embraces knew the true meaning of a warm hug, his kind eyes and warm smile.

He is survived by his parents- Amanda and Bryce Nolde, siblings- Clayton, Brycen and Cailynn, grandparents- Kenny and Cindy Becker, Don and Jane Johnson, Lance and Carla Schroeder, Ivan and Tammie Nolde, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved dog, Prince.

Brayden was preceded in death by his father- Casey Becker.

Brayden has been laid to rest in a private ceremony. The family suggests memorial contributions to Journey to the Cross Rodeo Bible Camp in care of Garnand Funeral Home.
