Brad Hand
Brad Hand, 65, of West Frankfort, passed away on Monday, May 12th, 2025 at 5:42 P.M. at the Herrin Hospital.
He was born January 29, 1960 in West Frankfort to Barbara (Harris) Hand and James Edward Hand.
Brad found great joy in the outdoors, especially while hunting and fishing with his dad and brothers.
Brad worked for a Landscaping business where he traveled across many miles of Illinois. Family and friends will miss his witty humor and infectious smile.
He is survived by his loving partner of 29 years, Marcie Davis of West Frankfort. He was a devoted step dad to Ashley Turner and loving grandpa to Tyler James Craft, Jordan Matthew Turner, Jadelynn Shae Turner and great grandson Kaiser Jamerson Craft of West Frankfort. Brad is also survived by a brother, James (Darla)
Hand Jr. of Woodlawn, sister, Sabrina Ferketich ( Chuck Still) of Benton as well as nieces and nephews, Ricky Williams, Kristie Dodson, John Ferketich Jr, Alecia Williams, Jimmy Hand, Trisha Wingo and Katelynn Navarro.
He was preceded in death by his dad James Hand, mother Barbara Hand, grandmother, Reva Rogers, brother, Chuck Hand and a sister, Felecia Smith.
A Celebration of Life service for will be on June 14, 2025. A time of visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. with the service to follow at the Heights Church of God in West Frankfort, Illinois, honoring both Brad and his mother Barbara Hand
