BRAD EVANS

Bradford “Brad” Scott Evans, 50, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025 at his Palatka residence.

Born in Macon, Georgia, Brad had been a resident of Putnam County for the past 41 years coming from Monticello, GA. He had worked for a time at Blockbuster Video, and as a bookkeeper for Cannon Bookkeeping. Brad was of the Baptist faith and in his leisure time he enjoyed reading and playing computer games with his friends. The main priority in his life was taking care of his mother.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert T. Evans; maternal grandparents, Edgar and Anne Slocumb; paternal grandparents, Herbert and Maureen Evans; and uncles, Jerry Slocumb, Bill Slocumb, Dwight Evans, James Evans, and Robbie Evans.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia “Trish” Evans; two uncles, John Slocumb (Linda), and Darrell Slocumb; and several cousins.
