It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of June Rose Warr a resident of Chimney Rock, North Carolina, who departed this life on August 3, 2025, in Asheville, North Carolina, at the age of 79. Born on June 18, 1946, in Florence, South Carolina, June dedicated her life to the service and care of others as a registered nurse at McLeod Hospital in Florence, where she worked diligently for over 30 years.

June was preceded in death by her loving parents, Nora and Troy Rose; her devoted husband, Hazel Warr; and her cherished sisters, Iris Gibson and Gwendolyn Kafer. Her memory will be forever treasured by those she leaves behind.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Phillips of Florence, South Carolina; Troy Phillips and his wife Jane of Hendersonville, North Carolina; and Bennett Phillips and his wife Robin of Chimney Rock, North Carolina. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. Her many beloved nieces, nephews, and dear friends mourn the loss of a woman who touched their lives with kindness and compassion.

There will be a memorial celebration to honor June’s life held at a later date in South Carolina with family and close friends.
