Betty Bradshaw

Betty June Bradshaw, 94, of West River Road in Palatka passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center in Palatka following an extended illness.

Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Betty had lived in various parts of Indiana and Florida. In 1948, she married her late-husband, Robert Ernest Bradshaw, Sr., and had lived in Putnam County ever since. She was both a homemaker and “ranch hand,” often helping her husband with their cows and farm animals. In her leisure time, she enjoyed crochet, embroidery, reading, and was an excellent cook. She was a faithful, long-time member of River Road Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, Eugene and Daisy Dinkins, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ernest Bradshaw, Sr.; son, Robert Bradshaw, Jr.; daughter, Cheryl Bradshaw; brothers, Arthur “Bud” Dinkins and Robert Dinkins; sisters, Mary Jean Register and Genevieve Lloyd; and a great grandson, Cade Beck.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Bradshaw; sister, Patricia Stevens; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2025 at Masters Funeral Home in Palatka with Pastor Joey Floyd officiating. Friends may call beginning at 10:00 a.m.—an hour before the start of the service. Interment will follow in Oak Hill East Cemetery.
