Barbara LaGuidice

Barbara A. LaGuidice of Somers, NY, passed away Saturday July 26, 2025, in Mt. Kisco, NY at the age of 87.

Barbara was born March 2, 1938, in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Arthur and Sylvi (Nelson) Anderson. Barbara lived in Brewster, NY for many years. On January 2, 2000, Barbara married Thomas Laguidice in Mamaroneck, NY and they moved to Somers. Barbara and Thomas loved to spend their time traveling.

Besides her husband Thomas, Barbara is survived by her first husband John E. Rivard, and their three children, John A. Rivard, and his wife Julie of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jennifer Rivard of Elizaville, NY and James Rivard and his wife Tammy of Danbury, CT, her brother Bruce Anderson and his wife Joanne of Cold Spring, NY, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Janice Dyas in 2015.

Her children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life, who adored their “Nanny”.

A private service will be held for friends and family on Wednesday, July 30th. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Barbara’s name may be made to the Somers Volunteer Ambulance Corp.
